akc registered golden retrievers
Our purpose is to share the beauty and gentle temperament of the golden retriever breed; thereby, allowing more families the joy of these fun-loving dogs. Both of the parents are 5+ years old and in excellent health. They are both a part of our pet-family here on the farm. They enjoy exploring the pastures, cooling off in our creek, and getting love from our children. *At this point, neither parent has been tested. We do not offer health guarantee against elbows, hips, eyes, and heart.
All puppies will have:
- first vet visit
- first set of vaccinations
- first dewormer
- be eating Diamond Naturals Puppy food/weaned
- AKC registration papers
- Breeding rights available ($250 additional).
Note: Both the mother and the father are purebred, AKC registered golden retrievers. We own them both. Molly, however, has "conditional" AKC registration. With all the DNA testing done now if a discrepancy arises in a pedigree and the dog in question is deceased or unavailable then they are conditionally registered until three generations are DNA tested, then the subsequent generations revert back to full registration. These puppies will be the third generation. In short, if you choose to breed one of these pups they will require a simple DNA test prior to registering their litter. Also, conditionally-registered dogs are excluded from some AKC competitions.
